SUNSHINE COAST – The ‘Transit Future Bus’ is coming
back to the Sunshine Coast following phase one consultations that were held
in December 2012. Look for the bus at popular community events including the
Gibsons Landing Jazz Festival and the Sechelt Night Market.
The ‘Transit Future Bus’ is a 40-foot interactive consultation tool
that includes educational displays highlighting area specific transit needs,
priorities and concerns. The Sunshine Coast Regional District and BC Transit
want to reconfirm the findings of phase one with their customers and stakeholders,
before making planning recommendations about routes, schedules and service hours.
Attend an open house on the ‘Transit Future Bus’, and steer the Sunshine
Coast in the direction that best suits the wants and needs of your community.
