Transit System: Powell River
POWELL RIVER – The Powell River Regional District and BC Transit are pleased to be providing a shuttle service to the Open Air Farmers’ Market. The service will run on weekends from June 14 to September 21, 2014.
The Open Air Farmers’ Market Shuttle will run from Powell River Town Centre Mall (north) to the market on McLeod Road. Saturday shuttle hours are from 10:15 am to 12:30 pm. On Sundays, the shuttle will run from 12:15 pm to 2:30 pm. The shuttles on both days will operate approximately every 20 minutes.
The cost of the shuttle is $2 round trip. The service is free for passengers with Healthy Nutrition coupons.
To promote ridership all year long, 10 lucky customers will win a 10-ticket bundle. The draws will be held every month until September 21, 2014. To enter the contest, go to either www.bctransit.com/regions/pow/contest or https://www.facebook.com/openairfarmersmarket
