BC Transit is advising customers that service in the Kamloops Transit System will continue to be impacted due to important ongoing maintenance work on the Overlanders Bridge.
The project, which is expected to be completed in October, is resulting in various lane closures and traffic impacts. As many of the routes are connected, this work continues to have significant impacts on the ability of BC Transit’s contracted operating partner, Transdev Canada, in maintaining service reliability throughout the entire system.
We are working hard to provide the most reliable service possible during this time and appreciate the patience of our customers. BC Transit also acknowledges the work of Transit Operators as they navigate the traffic challenges and remind customers to treat drivers with respect at all times.
