New Year and New Transit Fares

PRINCE GEORGE – Effective January 2, 2014 there will be a new fare structure in the Prince George Transit System with minor increases to support public transportation services. It’s been four years since fares were last adjusted.

Cash fares are going up by $.25. Adults will pay $2.50, while the fare for seniors and students will be $2.

Discount, pre-paid products will also see changes in the New Year.

Ticket bundles of 10 trips will be $22.50 ($2.25 per trip) for adults, up from $17. Tickets for seniors and students will be $18 ($1.80 per trip). Monthly passes will be $57.50 for adults ($1.44 per trip based on 40 rides per month) and $48 for students and seniors. The ProPass rate will be $49.35, up from $46.35.

DayPASS prices are $6.25 for adults and $5.25 for seniors and students, up from $5 and $4.50 respectively.
