New summer bus route coming to Kelowna

Kelowna – Starting this summer, transit riders in the Kelowna Regional Transit System will be able to hop on a brand-new seasonal bus route.

The new route, 31 Gellatly, will run on weekends and holidays between July 1 and September 1, connecting Westbank Centre Exchange, Gellatly Bay Waterfront, the West Kelowna Yacht Club, Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park and Pebble Beach.

As a special sneak preview and to make it easier for everyone to enjoy the Westside Daze festival and the fireworks on Gellatly Road, the new route will run on Saturday, June 30. On this day only, route 31 Gellatly will offer special late-night service for festival-goers, with the last trip leaving Westbank Centre Exchange at midnight.
