NANAIMO – Minor schedule adjustments will bring some improvements to transit service in the Regional District of Nanaimo this fall.
As of September 4, several routes will be adjusted to make bus connections more reliable and better connect communities.
Some of these adjustments include:
-
Route 88 Parksville: connections with Route 91 Intercity will be improved by changing all scheduled bus stop arrival times to reflect actual trip times
-
Route 91 Intercity: Sunday schedule will be adjusted to improve connections at Woodgrove
-
Route 25 Ferry Shuttle: trip times have changed across the week
While the adjustments are “minor”, customers are advised to check the new schedules to make sure they get to their bus stop on time.
