Transit System: West Kootenay
NELSON – Starting August 8, there will be a new bus stop and an additional bus route serving Nelson. The bus stop at Chahko Mika Mall will move from its temporary location outside Walmart to a new, fully accessible purpose-built stop next to Save-On Foods.
Also on August 8, a new route will be instituted. The 4 Nelson Airport will operate between Ward and Baker and Nelson Airport via Lakeside Drive three times a day during the week and once on Saturdays.
