Transit System: Sunshine Coast
SUNSHINE COAST – BC Transit and the Sunshine Coast Regional District are pleased to announce increased frequency for route #1 Langdale-Sechelt on weekday afternoons, effective September 4, 2012.
To better serve the Sunshine Coast, BC Transit is also making a number of seasonal schedule adjustments to meet changing BC Ferries times, effective September 4, 2012 through October 8, 2012.
New Service Highlights:
> Enhanced frequency on the #1 Langdale-Sechelt route between 1pm and 5pm on weekdays.
> Seasonal schedule adjustment effective September 4, 2012 through October 8, 2012.
AFunding for the Transit System is cost shared between the Sunshine Coast Regional District and BC Transit. Decisions about fares, routes and service levels are made by the Regional District, based on information and planning provided by BC Transit.
