Transit System: Prince George
BC Transit and the City of Prince George are advising customers of a service change and expansion, effective January 4, 2026.
To reflect an increase in demand, Route 5 Victoria will now run on Sundays.
As part of this service expansion, there will also be more frequent weekend trips on the following routes:
This service expansion in the Prince George Transit System has been made possible by an increase in local government and provincial funding. The operating grant provided in the 2025-26 provincial budget will allow BC Transit and its local government partners to continue to provide safe and reliable service and demonstrates that public transit remains a priority in our communities.
With a new school semester, school trips on routes 12, 15, 55, 96 and 97 will be reinstated.
