BC Transit and the District of Squamish are informing handyDART customers of a service change, effective January 5, 2023.
More hours are being added to handyDART, including adding additional handyDART service capacity in the morning and afternoon peaks and extending service in the evening until 5:30 p.m.
Holiday handyDART service will be added as well. This service will match weekend hours.
This service expansion has been made possible by an increase in local government and provincial funding. The operating grant provided in the 2024-25 provincial budget will allow BC Transit and its local government partners to continue to provide safe and reliable service and demonstrates that public transit remains a priority in our communities.
