Learn how your new Trip Planner works

Cranbrook – The Cranbrook Transit System’s new Trip Planner is almost six months old: have you tried it yet?
The Trip Planner can save you time and frustration in trying to figure out how to get from Point A to Point B by bus. Now, Cranbrook Transit and BC Transit are excited to present an opportunity for you to get directions on how to get those directions.
On Wednesday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., you are invited to an event at the College of the Rockies. There, you can get a personal demonstration of the Trip Planner, pick up a free Rider’s Guide and learn more about the transit system in general.
The BC Transit Trip Planner is an online tool that combines the latest BC Transit schedule and route information, with the power of Google Maps. When you type in your trip origin, destination, date and time of departure or desired arrival, the most direct bus routes, connections and timings will be automatically calculated for you.
In 2017/18, BC Transit provided over 203,000 rides in the Cranbrook Transit System. The BC Transit Trip Planner shows the convenience and reliability of public transportation as an alternative to private autos.
