WHISTLER – BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are providing customers with information regarding the upcoming September service change in the Whistler Transit System available now on BC Transit’s newest engagement website http://engage.bctransit.com/whistler/.
In light of COVID-19, BC Transit, the RMOW and Whistler Transit are working together to optimize the schedule for September 2020. The new schedule will look to serve Whistler residents and visitors more efficiently.
The website will also give customers an opportunity to view the upcoming schedule changes and ask questions to the project members regarding the service change.
Following the guidance of the Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafeBC, and drawing on the best practices of the transit industry worldwide, BC Transit is continuing with many of the safety measures put in place to respond to COVID-19, and is implementing additional practices and procedures to align with BC’s Restart Plan.
