Transit System: Salt Spring Island
Salt Spring Island – Transit users on Salt Spring Island can look forward to increased Saturday service with the new schedule taking effect May 6, 2017.
With tourist season approaching, there will be more bus service between Ganges and the Fulford Harbour Ferry Terminal. Five additional trips will be provided on Saturdays to meet the anticipated demand.
In addition to the service changes a new fare will be implemented. As of May 1, the price of a book of ten tickets will drop from $20.25 to $20.00, and a DayPASS will cost $4.50, instead of $5.
Regular cash fares will stay the same at $2.25 per trip and monthly passes will remain at $50 for adults and $40 for seniors/students.
