WHISTLER – The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) and BC Transit are getting into the holiday season with an increase in service hours over the holiday period and FREE evening rides on New Year’s Eve.
From December 20, 2013 to January 5, 2014, scheduled service on all days will increase to weekend levels to better match the demand over the peak holiday period.
The RMOW and BC Transit encourage everyone to make the safe and smart choice to ride transit on New Year’s Eve. Take advantage of free rides, within Whistler only, on December 31 from 6 pm to 4 am. Extra service will be added to get you from the Village home from midnight to 4 am.
BC Transit customers should be aware of holiday schedule changes:
December 20 – January 5 – regular weekend schedule
December 31 – FREE New Year’s Eve service 6 pm to 4 am, plus extra buses from the Village home midnight to 4 am
