Hop on the bus for free to get to the Christmas parade

CHILLIWACK – This year, the City of Chilliwack and BC Transit are making it easier for people to enjoy the Chilliwack Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 2.

Starting at 3:00 p.m. and until end of day, passengers will be able to ride for free on all routes. To help everyone to get to and from the parade, route 1 Vedder will also offer additional afternoon and evening service, with buses running every 10 minutes between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. A Rider’s Bulletin listing all the additional trips will be available for pick up on board the bus.

Free service will not apply on the Fraser Valley Express (route 66 FVX), or on routes 11 Agassiz-Harrison and 22 Hope.
