KITIMAT – BC Transit and the District of Kitimat are getting into
the holiday spirit with FREE RIDES on New Year’s Eve.
BC Transit customers can ring in the New Year safely, overnight New Year’s
Eve transit service will be free from 7 pm until 5 am. The New Year’s Eve
free service is sponsored by RioTinto Alcan, Kitimat Modernization Project,
CAW Local 2301 and the District of Kitimat.
BC Transit customers should also be aware of the holiday schedule changes:
December 24, 2012 – regular weekday schedule
December 25, 2012 – Sunday schedule
December 26, 2012 – Sunday schedule
December 31, 2012 – regular weekday schedule, plus free rides from
7 pm to 5 am
January 1, 2013 — Sunday schedule
