CENTRAL FRASER VALLEY – BC Transit, the City of Abbotsford and District
of Mission are getting into the holiday spirit with a discounted Shopper Daypass
for most of the month of December and with FREE RIDES on New Year’s
Eve after 6 pm.
Take advantage of a Shopper Daypass from December 2 to December 31,
2012. Adult passes are $3.50 a day. Students and seniors will pay $3 for the
Shopper Daypass. When residents in the Central Fraser Valley chose transit,
they reduce traffic congestion at one of the busiest times of the year and prevent
parking pandemonium at popular shopping destinations.
BC Transit encourages everyone to make the safe and smart choice to ride transit
on New Year’s Eve. That choice is easier than ever with free rides
on December 31, 2012 from 6 pm to 2:30 am.
BC Transit customers should be aware of some holiday schedule changes:
December 24, 2012 – regular weekday schedule ending around 8 pm
December 25, 2012 – Sunday schedule in Abbotsford* (no service in Mission)
December 26, 2012 – Sunday schedule in Abbotsford* (no service in Mission)
December 31, 2012 – regular weekday schedule, plus free rides & extended
hours from 6 pm to 2:30 am
January 1, 2013 — Sunday schedule in Abbotsford* (no service in Mission)
*no service on route #31 Connector to Mission
