Holiday Stuff the Bus

TRAIL – BC Transit and Trail Transit Services need your help to Stuff the Bus for the Salvation Army.

The first-ever Trail Stuff the Bus event will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Ferraro Foods.

The original BC Transit Stuff the Bus event, organized by BC Transit employees in Victoria, has raised more than $140,000 in support of local charitable organizations over 13 years.

In Trail, all food and cash donations will support the Salvation Army. Any donation over $10 will include a tax receipt. The Salvation Army needs non-perishable foods including pasta and sauce, soup, beans, juice boxes and granola bars. Sweater and coat donations, especially for teens, would be greatly appreciated. Last year, the Salvation Army food bank in Trail served nearly 17,000 meals.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Ferraro Foods, hot dogs and pop will be served to people who make a donation throughout the Stuff the Bus event.
