COWICHAN VALLEY – The holidays are upon us and if you are planning trips during the festive season, be sure to check your local schedules in the Cowichan Valley.
Throughout the Christmas and New Year’s season, the Cowichan Valley Transit System will run the following holiday schedule:
Wednesday, December 25
Local, routes 66 and 99, and handyDART: No service
Thursday, December 26
Local*: Saturday-level service
Routes 66 and 99, and handyDART: No service
Friday, December 27 to Tuesday, December 31
Local, routes 66 and 99, and handyDART**: Regular service
Wednesday, January 1, 2020
Local*: Sunday-level service
Routes 66 and 99, and handyDART: No service
Thursday, January 2
Local, routes 66 and 99, and handyDART**: Regular service
* No service in Ladysmith, Youbou and Honeymoon Bay.
** Service hours may be reduced. Contact your handyDART service provider for details at 250-748-1230.
Please note that route 44 Duncan/Victoria will operate on its regular schedule, providing service on Saturday, December 28.
