QUESNEL – BC Transit, the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional
District are getting into the holiday spirit with a seasonal Lights Tour on
Friday, December 14, 2012.
BC Transit customers are asked to bring non-perishable food items as a donation
for the Salvation Army Food Bank. Lights Tour buses will leave West Quesnel
(parking lot beside 7-Eleven) at 6:45 pm, the Robin’s Donuts parking lot
at 7 pm. Buses will return at 8:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to get advance
tickets from either a bus driver or at the Quesnel Transit office (98A Pinecrest
Road). The Lights Tour is quickly becoming a popular holiday outing.
BC Transit customers should also be aware of the holiday schedule changes:
December 24, 2012 – regular service until 4 pm (#1 West Quesnel
last bus at 3:19 pm, #2 Red Bluff last bus at 3:10 pm and #3 North Fraser last
bus at 3:45 pm)*
December 25, 2012 – no service
December 26, 2012 – no service
December 31, 2012 – regular service until 3 pm (#1 West Quesnel
last bus at 3:19 pm, #2 Red Bluff last bus at 3:10 pm and #3 North Fraser last
bus at 3:45 pm)*
January 1, 2013 — no service
*the last bus #2 Red Bluff will ensure passengers reach their final destinations
in West Quesnel and North Fraser
