Ho-Ho-Holiday and weekend service extended in Whistler

WHISTLER – Have a little extra fun on weekends and holidays and catch a ride home with us, with extra buses being offered in winter on the Whistler Transit System until March 31, 2020.

BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are pleased to offer extra buses on routes 4, 5, 20X, and 25 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and the holidays.

Holidays are defined as:

  • December 20, 2019 – January 5, 2020 (school winter break)
  • January 20, 2020 (Martin Luther King Day)
  • February 17, 2020 (Family Day/President’s Day)

On New Year’s Eve, you can catch a FREE ride on the bus. Let BC Transit get you to and from all the festivities safely.

Complimentary transit service starts from 6:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. on December 31, 2019. There will be extra buses leaving the Village from midnight to 4:00 a.m. as well. The extended New Year’s Eve service is courtesy of the RMOW and paid for by Resort Municipality Initiative funds. Let BC Transit get you to and from all the festivities safely.

Buses in the Whistler Transit System run 365 days a year. Full winter service is currently in effect, and is designed to meet service demand during the holiday season.

Winter Customer Service hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, including statutory holidays.
