Transit System: West Kootenay
BC Transit and its partners are hoping to stuff a bus this holiday season.
The 10th Annual Stuff the Bus is taking place on November 17 and 18, 2023. A BC Transit bus will be parked in the Ferraro Foods parking lot at 850 Farwell Street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and volunteers will be on hand to collect non-perishable food items and other donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Last year’s Stuff the Bus brought in 4,200 pounds of non-perishable food and winter coats, as well as $7,600 in cash donations.
