BC Transit is inviting you to help us stuff a double-decker bus full of holiday cheer on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
A BC Transit bus will be set up at the Save-On-Foods at the Tillicum Mall on December 2 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with volunteers collecting non-perishable food items, new, unused toys, and clothing.
All donations will benefit the Mustard Seed Food Bank and the Salvation Army, helping families in need this holiday season.
This year, holiday celebrations are a little different at BC Transit. Due to existing fleet and resource challenges, BC Transit will not be taking part in some of the annual events and traditions we usually participate in this time of year including the Santa Bus, as it would take a bus out of service. We know the Santa Bus provides our customers and employees with a lot of joy and festive spirit, and we hope to offer it again in 2024.
