Help Shape Ladysmith's Transit Future

LADYSMITH – BC Transit and Cowichan Valley Regional Transit are considering options for service improvements to take effect in September 2016 and want to hear from transit users.

Members of the public are invited to a series of open houses to look at options affecting local routes in Ladysmith, as well as connections to Chemainus and Duncan.

Ideas and opinions shared will be taken into consideration as the plans are finalized.

Open houses will be held:

Tuesday, April 5 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at the Ladysmith Seniors Centre
Friday, April 8 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Save-On Foods in Coronation Mall, Ladysmith
Saturday, April 9 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 49th Parallel Grocery, Ladysmith
Saturday, April 9 2 – 4 p.m. at 49th Parallel Grocery, 3055 Oak Street, Chemainus

People who cannot attend in person are invited to take part in an online survey, open now through April 10. Participants will be entered in a draw to win one of six $100 grocery gift cards to Save-On Foods or 49th Parallel Grocery.
