KELOWNA – BC Transit, First Canada, and our regional partners* will be supporting the Fill Santa’s Sleigh Bus event held by FreshCo. FreshCo will be collecting hamper donations from Thursday, December 10 to Sunday, December 13.
This event is being held in place of the 18th Annual Santa Bus event. Hampers can be purchased at FreshCo tills for $5 or $10. All donations will be picked up by the Santa Bus and will go toward supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Program.
BC Transit recognizes the change in direction from the Provincial Health Office, which allows events for donations to proceed with safety measures. BC Transit is pleased to be able to help support our local communities across the province, especially given the impact of COVID-19 on the communities we serve in 2020.
Please be advised of BC Transit and FreshCo. safety protocols including wearing a face covering and practicing physical distancing. We will update you if conditions change due to public health orders.
