Have your say in the Prince Rupert and Port Edward Transit Systems

PRINCE RUPERT – BC Transit, the City of Prince Rupert and the District of Port Edward are seeking the public’s feedback on proposed changes and ways we can improve transit in the Prince Rupert and Port Edward Transit Systems.

BC Transit is seeking input from the public to identify transit priorities. The feedback shared will help develop a Transit Future Service Plan, which will support transit decision-making, service and infrastructure improvements in the region.

Members of the public will be able to provide feedback on proposed changes in the transit system, which include:

  • Reduction of the Port Edward service
  • Route changes
  • Schedules
  • Bus stop improvements

A Transit Future Service Plan will provide a vision and implementation strategy for improving the region’s transit network.

Members of the public are invited to provide their feedback through an online website and survey available at: engage.bctransit.com/prr-pte-2021. The public engagement window is open from March 12 until April 12, 2021.
