Whistler – BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler are getting into the winter and holiday spirit. Full winter service starts on Saturday, December 10, 2016, with increased service hours over the school winter vacation period as well as free rides starting at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
>From December 16, 2016 to January 2, 2017, scheduled service on all days will increase to weekend levels to match the demand over the peak holiday period.
The Whistler Transit System also wants to ensure you get home safely this New Year’s Eve and is offering free transit service from 6 p.m. until 4 a.m. (within Whistler only). The extra service to 4 a.m. is courtesy of Whistler Presents New Year’s Eve.
There is still time to send us your Whistler Transit System memories. As part of the Whistler Transit System’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Residents and visitors can also participate in the Whistler Transit Tales contest from December 1 to December 15 for a chance to win a six-month bus pass.
