BC Transit and the District of Kitimat are announcing the return to full service levels on Sundays, effective January 8, 2023. Due to recent hires, full service will run on Sundays from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Like many customer-facing organizations, BC Transit is currently facing a labour shortage in a number of transit systems across the province, including Kitimat.
We appreciate the public’s patience and apologize for any inconvenience these service impacts may be causing.
BC Transit and its operating company in the Kitimat Transit System, PW Transit, are working hard to hire more drivers and are looking for people with strong customer service skills, who enjoy interacting with the public and supporting their community.
