SQUAMISH — BC Transit and the District of Squamish are announcing the return of free summer weekend transit service on all routes and the reinstatement of the seasonal transit route 5 to South Squamish Parks, both starting on June 14, 2021.
Route 5 South Parks will include:
- Connections from downtown Squamish to the Adventure Centre, Darrell Bay, the Sea to Sky Gondola, Stawamus Chief, and Valley Drive.
- Sea to Sky Gondola annual pass holders to ride the route for free
- Service seven days a week
Free summer weekend service on all routes will run between June 14 and September 6, 2021, on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays.
