BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) are offering free transit on the Whistler Transit System on September 30, 2023.
Free transit on all routes within Whistler is being offered to mark Truth and Reconciliation Day, courtesy of the RMOW and Whistler Blackcomb. This is part of the 2018 – 2028 Whistler Transportation Action Plan recommendation to provide free transit on summer weekends and statutory holidays and is funded through the revenue collected from Day Lots 1-5.
