Transit System: Fort St. John
FORT ST. JOHN – The City of Fort St. John and BC Transit will offer free transit service on Remembrance Day, November 11, 2014.
The free rides will be offered only on routes #1 and #2 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. and again from 2:45 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. on Remembrance Day only.
Customers who rely on handyDART can take advantage of free Remembrance Day transit trips between 8 a.m. to noon and again from 3:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
BC Transit encourages operators, when it is safe to do so, to stop their bus at 11 a.m. to observe the traditional two minutes of silence in honour of Canadians who have served our country.
