KITIMAT – In recognition of Canada Day, the District of Kitimat and BC Transit will be offering free service on July 1, 2021 in the Kitimat Transit System.
Free transit will be available on routes 1 Whitesail, 2 Nechako, 3 Kildala and 4 Crosstown. The free service extends to handyDART as well. Service will be operational at Sunday-level service on all conventional routes.
Please be advised that BC Transit continues to follow the guidance of the PHO and WorkSafeBC, and face coverings are currently mandatory on all buses and at bus stops.
