BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) will be offering free transit on the Whistler Transit System for the upcoming Thanksgiving long weekend.
Starting Saturday, October 7 until Monday, October 10, transit will be free in Whistler, courtesy of the RMOW and Whistler Blackcomb.
The free transit is part of the 2018 – 2028 Whistler Transportation Action Plan recommendation to provide free transit on summer weekends and statutory holidays and is funded through the revenue collected from Day Lots 1-5.
Early Winter extra transit service and extended winter customer service hours will start on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
