Free Transit for Holiday Shoppers

QUESNEL – BC Transit, the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District are getting into the holiday spirit with a seasonal Lights Tour on Friday, December 13, 2013.

Transit customers are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items as a donation for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Lights Tour buses will leave South Quesnel (Walmart bus stop) at 6:30 pm, West Quesnel (parking lot beside 7-Eleven) at 6:45 pm, the Robin’s Donuts parking lot at 7 pm. Buses will stop at Tim Horton’s at 8:30 pm for a free coffee/tea and donut and will return to destinations of origin by 9:15 pm.

The Lights Tour is a popular event! Participants are asked to get their tickets in advance from either their bus driver or the Quesnel Transit office at 98A Pinecrest Road.

BC Transit customers should also be aware of the holiday schedule changes:
December 24 – regular service until 4 pm
December 25 – no service
December 26 – no service
December 31 – regular service until 4 pm
January 1 – no service
