Free Rides

Kelowna – Explore the Okanagan-Mission area for FREE on a BC Transit bus from now until June 30.

This week BC Transit and our local government partners are mailing a free ride coupon to hundreds of people who live near Routes #15 Crawford, #16 Kettle Valley and #17 Southridge. We are encouraging people to try out our newly expanded service routes.

On March 25, 2012 BC Transit split Route #16, making Routes #16 and #17. Now Kettle Valley and Southridge residents can enjoy 30 minute peak-time and 60 minute regular bus service. All three routes end at the Mission Recreation Transit Exchange and passengers can obtain transfers if they would like to explore beyond that point.

More than 2,500 free ride coupons are being delivered to people who live in the Mission area.

Take a FREE ride and see how easy it is to get to the H20 Centre and Downtown Kelowna! One free ride may be the starting point to a lifelong commitment to sustainable, affordable and community-minded public transportation.
