Transit System: Powell River
POWELL RIVER – It’s all treat and no trick. BC Transit and
Powell River are teaming up to make Halloween a safe and happy celebration with
free rides from 5 pm until midnight on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The first
100 riders will receive a BC Transit safety light that strobes or glows and
will draw attention to little ghosts and goblins while they navigate pumpkin-lined
streets.
BC Transit is a terrific solution for dedicated trick or treaters who want
to cover a lot of ground or surprise friends in other neighbourhoods with their
spooky costumes. Transit is also the smart choice for adults who need to commute
while in the Halloween spirit.
Halloween isn’t just for kids, or even limited to people; watch for our
spooktacular BC Transit bus. It will be wearing a Halloween costume too!
