Transit System: Cowichan Valley
Cowichan Valley – In commemoration of Remembrance Day, between November 4 and 10, the Cowichan Valley Regional District and BC Transit are offering free service on all local routes and handyDART for veterans and members of the Canadian Forces with valid ID.
This free service will not apply on the Cowichan Valley Commuter routes.
On Saturday, November 11, all transit users in the region will be able to ride for free on local routes.
Please remember that November 11 is a statutory holiday, and buses will be running on a Sunday schedule. The new route 44 Victoria/Duncan, and all Ladysmith, Youbou and Honeymoon Bay local routes will not be in operation on that day.
