Transit System: Cowichan Valley
COWICHAN VALLEY – Enjoy free rides on the Cowichan Valley Regional Transit System on June 8, 2013. All trips on the conventional system will be free in support of the North Cowichan “communityforclimate Fair.”
The Fair is designed to raise awareness about climate change and energy conservation. Attendees will learn more about the recently adopted North Cowichan Climate Action and Energy Plan.
The Cowichan campus of Vancouver Island University (VIU) will host the “communityforclimate Fair” on Saturday, June 8 from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
