Transit System: Campbell River
CAMPBELL RIVER – The City of Campbell River and BC Transit are offering free rides on Friday, November 21, 2014 in support of National Child Day. Free fares are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 21 only.
The National Child Day event will be held at the Campbell River Community Centre at 401- 11th Avenue from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will include live musical entertainment and demonstrations, arts & crafts, face painting, storybook readings, snacks and other activities. Many local organizations will be present to showcase the many low-cost programs and services that are available to children and families in the Campbell River area.
Free fare to the Child Day celebration is being offered as a way to encourage transit use in Campbell River and to ensure everyone can attend this important community gathering.
