Transit System: Prince George
Prince George – The City of Prince George and BC Transit are pleased to mark Bike to Work & School Week by offering participating cyclists free rides between May 28 and June 3.
To ride the Prince George Transit System for free, Bike to Work & School Week participants must show their bike helmet when boarding the bus.
In addition, BC Transit buses are equipped with bike racks*, making it easier for cyclists to combine two forms of sustainable transportation when travelling longer distances—or when the weather changes throughout the day and makes cycling less desirable than it was first thing in the morning. *Bike racks on community buses cannot be used after dark, since they obstruct the headlights.
