Free evening service on New Year’s Eve in Abbotsford, Mission

Central Fraser Valley – To help everyone enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities safely, on Monday, December 31, the City of Abbotsford, the District of Mission and BC Transit are pleased to offer extended evening service on several routes, free of charge.

The free New Year’s Eve service will be in effect between 6:00 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. on the following routes:

  • 1 McKee – Blueridge GoLine
  • 2 Bluejay
  • 3 Clearbrook – UFV GoLine
  • 4 Saddle
  • 5 Hospital
  • 6 Gladwin – Peardonville
  • 7 Sumas Mountain
  • 31 Abbotsford – Mission Connector
  • 32 West Heights
  • 40 East Mission Night

Over the Christmas/New Year’s period, transit service on the Central Fraser Valley System will operate on a modified schedule.

December 24: Regular Service

Christmas Day and Boxing Day: Sunday-level service in Abbotsford; no service in Mission, including the Route 31 Abbotsford-Mission Connector.

December 27-30: Regular service, with extended evening service on select routes (see above).

December 31: Regular service, free evening service from 6:00 pm – 2:30 am.

January 1, 2019: Sunday-level service in Abbotsford; no service in Mission (including Route 31 Abbotsford-Mission Connector).

Regular service resumes, Wednesday, January 2.
