Fort St. John Remembers: Free Rides on November 11

Fort St. John – The City of Fort St. John and BC Transit are offering free rides to commemorate Remembrance Day. Free service will be provided for all customers on Route 1: Northside and Route 2: Southside on November 11, 2016. handyDART will also be offered for free for registered customers from 8 a.m. to noon and 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The free service applies on November 11, 2016. It is a small gesture to honour the many sacrifices of the men and women who serve in the Canadian Armed Forces.

BC Transit also encourages operators, when it is safe to do so, to stop their bus at 11:00 am to observe the traditional minute of silence in memory of war veterans and active military members.
