BC Transit and the City of Kamloops are advising customers of an upcoming fare change that will align with the fall service change, effective September 6, 2026.
As part of this fare change, the price of a single ride on all routes and handyDART will be increasing to $2.50 and a DayPASS will increase to $5. The price of the ProPASS will increase to $47.
The price of the Monthly Pass (adult and concession) and Student Semester Pass will remain the same. Student Semester passes can only be purchased in-person at the London Drugs downtown location and at the Sweláps Market, Aberdeen Mall will no longer be selling Student Semester passes.
With the fall semester beginning, service will resume on all School Special trips on routes 70 through 81.
Weekday trips on the following routes will return:
- Route 3 Westsyde
- Route 4 Pacific Way
- Route 5 Pineview
- Route 9 Gleneagles
- Route 10 North Shore TRU Express
- Route 14 Batchelor Heights
