BC Transit and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission are advising customers of a seasonal service change, effective September 2, 2025.  
As part of this service change, school trips will resume for routes that serve K – 12 school times. Service levels for routes that serve post-secondary schools will be increased. Route 17 Cedar Hill and Route 76 UVic/Swartz Bay will resume for the school season.  
With new and improved transit infrastructure in place, the following routes will return to previous routing, traveling northbound through Carey Road and Ravine Way:  
- Route 32 Cordova Bay/Royal Oak Exch 
 
- Route 70 Swartz Bay/Downtown 
 
- Route 71 Swartz Bay/Downtown 
 
Service will be seasonally reduced on routes 70 and 75.
