BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) are announcing a fall service change, which coincides with the start of the school year, effective September 6, 2026.
School trips will resume on the following routes:
- 1 Anfield Centre/Comox Mall
- 2 Cumberland/Anfield Centre
- 3 Comox Local
- 4 Driftwood Mall/Comox Mall
- 5 Vanier
- 99 VMP Connector
As families prepare for the upcoming school year, BC Transit encourages parents and students to visit BusReady to help young people travel with confidence. BusReady offers educational resources, safety information, and practical trip-planning tools that help make the journey to and from school safer, easier and more comfortable for students. BC Transit also reminds customers that children 12 and under ride the bus for free, province-wide.
Customers are encouraged to use Umo, Google Transit or any other real time trip planning app to see trip times and plan your journey.
