Kelowna – As of September 3, bus riders in the Kelowna Regional Transit System will benefit from a number of service changes and improvements.
These improvements are possible due to the addition of 2,500 new service hours to the transit system.
Changes include increased Saturday service on routes 1 Lakeshore and 8 University/OK College, as well as the return of the seasonal routes 6 Glenmore/UBCO and 13 Quail Ridge.
Customers can also expect to see a more efficient University of British Columbia Okanagan Exchange, as well as minor scheduling and routing adjustments to improve performance and timeliness.
handyDART users will also benefit from service expansion in the City of Kelowna and District of Lake Country.
