Fall service changes head to the Victoria Regional Transit System

VICTORIA – In order to continue providing BC Transit customers with critical transportation solutions, we are making adjustments to service in the Victoria Regional Transit System, effective September 7, 2020.

This service change will include schedule adjustments on routes throughout the Victoria Regional Transit System to better align with recent ridership demand.

Service level increases will be implemented on many of the routes over the current summer schedule being offered in the transit system. This fall seasonal service change has been modified from previous years to reflect the ongoing COVID-19 response. This includes measures taken by post-secondary institutions, such as the majority of classes moving to an online format. Please visit our website for full schedule details.

Later evening service on Fridays and Saturdays will also be reinstated on the following routes:
  • 4 UVic/Downtown
  • 6 Downtown/Royal Oak Exchange
  • 14 UVic/Vic General
  • 15 Esquimalt/UVic
  • 27 Gordon Head/Downtown
  • 28 Majestic/Downtown
  • 50 Langford/Downtown
Late night service will end at approximately 1:30 a.m. departing downtown Victoria.

BC Transit continues to work hard to provide transportation services you can rely on. We continue to monitor the COVID-19 response, and implement plans as appropriate.
