Transit System: Salt Spring Island
SALT SPRING ISLAND – Effective September 28, 2014 there are a few year-round changes coming to the Salt Spring Island Transit System. Daily on the Route #6 SS Connector an 8:05 p.m. trip via Walker’s Hook will provide better access for that neighbourhood and will better serve events at Portlock Park and Central Hall.
Extra trips are being introduced on Fridays and Saturdays on the Route #2 Fulford Harbour at 9:10 p.m. and the Route # 6 SS Connector at 10:05 p.m. The added trips will help transit services better align with the final ferry run to Fulford Harbour.
On Sundays, BC Transit customers will enjoy extra trips on Route #2 Fulford Harbour at 7:10 p.m. and the Route #6 SS Connector at 8:05 p.m. to make evening service more consistent with coverage offered during the rest of the week.
