BC Transit and its regional partners* are informing customers of seasonal schedule adjustments in the Kelowna Regional Transit System, effective September 3, 2023.
This change will provide increased service from current summer-level service to fall service on many routes, including additional trips on school routes.
Further changes include:
-
Additional mid-day and evening service on Route 4 Pandosy/UBCO Express. This includes an increase in late evening service
-
More late evening service on Route 6 Glenmore/UBCO
-
Extended late evening service on Route 13 Quail Ridge
We encourage our customers to use the Transit App, Google Transit or any other app of their choice for real-time bus tracking and planning your next transit journey.
BC Transit is also supporting evacuation efforts in West Kelowna due to the McDougall Creek wildfire, and last night seven buses and drivers were used to evacuate approximately 85 people from a care home in the region. Our thoughts are with all those being impacted by this and other wildfires throughout the province, and the people battling these fires.
