Whistler – BC Transit, Whistler Blackcomb and the Resort Municipality of Whistler are announcing the start of the Extra Summer Service with free weekend service in the Whistler Transit System effective June 15, 2019.
The seasonal service change will give transit users a chance to explore Whistler during the warm summer months in the mountains with complimentary service on route 8 Lost Lake Shuttle.
Additionally, there will be complimentary service on all routes on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays between June 15 and September 2, 2019. The free service is made possible through funding from parking fees collected from Day Lots.
